Do you know you were born on the Belgian National day?? This way when it's birthday for you it's always bank holiday for me. Great!

Thank you very much for your birthday wishes! I wasn't aware that even the Belgians celebrate it. :-)
I had a very good time - in fact loads of celebrations. I had a very nice birthday with several friends, my family made a surprise party when I came home over the weekend and I will have a birthday - leaving party on Thursday here in Newcastle. Only the British weather is again very British... Hope it'll change by then. I also wished you all could be here!
