Hey, I'm back again. Hello, hello, and hello!!!
Sorry I cannot contribute any comments on the games, but I'd like to report a bit of what I've been doing. ^^
Quit my job for a few days and am taking some rest now.
The PhD exam will come in the end of May, will need a lot of study, preparations for proposal and stuff this and next months.
About my trip, Yasu, I can give you the preliminarily agreed itinerary, will you join or we can meet somewhere in the middle of my trip?
(14 July) arrive in Rome -> travel all the way northward in Italy -> Vienna -> Switzerland -> Southern France -> Paris -> (6 Aug) arrive in London (meet Nuno?) -> travel all the way northward in UK -> Newcastle -> (24 Aug) back home
Pity that I cannot go to Lisbon in this trip, hope there'll be some other chances in the future....><

:-( We'll miss each other in Newcastle! I'll be leaving before the 8th of August to go back to Germany. What a pity!

About your trip, I see you have a long itinerary but a very nice one. I just think you are planning to spend too much time in UK, you would probably enjoy more if you visited also Barcelona and Madrid!
About me being in London in the middle of August my answer is maybe, who knows? We keep on contact in the next months and then we'll see.

In this trip, you will be imspired how marvelous Europe is! One question. You're not travelling along, are you? Surely with some friends? If you travel with only girls, be a little alert when you walk around cities, ok? Oh, you have some friends in Italy. Then no problem!
After reading your mail, I am really thinking of going to Italy for a week or so in the period you mentioned. I need to brush up my Italian. Give me a little details on your stay in Italy. Is it a backpacking trip or visiting your Italian friends?
As Nuno suggested, you should visit Barcelona. But a problem is a lot of tapasnholes do not even convey simple frases in English. It is hard for travellers.
Yeah, I know. I planned to go to "Spain-Portugal" route also, but it was a little bit too far and Nuno won't be there. I will carry some friends with me and they want to explore UK, too. And Juliane, when exactly will you be leaving Newcastle? I'd reaaly like to see you and I think I can go to Newcastle earlier maybe.
For Nuno, those shoes were definitely not mine ^____^, I wore sandals on that day.
Yasu, you really will come? We'll be backpackers and rent a car. Come join, it'll be much much greater if you're there ^___^
Linda, I am quite interested. But is there any boy in your party? If so, yes. How many people in the party? It is very much depend on availablity of airticket and schedule. Be aware that it is not easy task to drive in Italy. If I can join, I can be in a great help. I mean, in term of language and travel info.

There'll be 5 in the party (me included), one of which is male. I know some about driving in Italy. I was in Italy for 10 days two years ago and we rent a car. Not that difficult, haha...we survived actually, after a few of embarrassing incidents. Of course you can join. I've told some of them about you. We'll have a get-together discussing about the trip this week. Will keep you posted with the latest news!!!

Your itinerary is good.
But I guess that 5 persons and luggage can be already over the limit to accommodate in one vehicle... I will work out an alternative mode of travel to any of those cities in the scheduled dates and find out whether it is possible to meet us there. (So, you do not have to opt me for making your schedule.) If not, I can see you and your friends in Taipei some other time. Sometimes (not always), travel agents offer reasonable air & hotel package to Shangai, Taipei and other Asian cities.
Anyway, keep me informed.

You may have a good reason to be angry with me... Sorry but shouldn't we all go to Shanghai to reunite us? Well, I suspect that would be very difficult for you as you have a big exam.
